Tim is Head of Sustainability at Sealand.
He is a passionate surfer, sailor, and ocean enthusiast who joined our team in January 2024 after an extended sabbatical from the office and South Africa. When he's not reminding everyone about the importance of reusable coffee cups, searching for his misplaced pen, phone, vape, or identity, or offering the designers his unsolicited (and often outdated) style tips, you can find him enjoying the sea around the Peninsula or soaking up Cape Town's vibrant art, music, and culture scene.
Despite having only one functioning ear—the one that conveniently faces away from everyone—Tim proudly claims the title of Sealand's resident DJ. So far, his DJ events have only seen attendance at mandatory gatherings, but his enthusiasm remains unwavering.
