The Origin Puffer
Purpose-Built for the Long Haul
Made from 100% recycled NetPlus® fabric – sourced entirely from discarded fishing nets.
Responsibly crafted in Cape Town, South Africa.
The Origin Puffer is made in Cape Town using NetPlus® - a durable nylon yarn spun from 100% reclaimed fishing nets. Tough on the outside and warm on the inside, insulated with 100% post-consumer waste.
Every stitch speaks to impact: fully traceable materials that restore ecosystems, support coastal communities, and keep waste out of oceans.
The Journey of the Material: NetPlus®

Sourcing
The fishing communities involved in this initiative are not the problem, they are part of the solution. By turning in worn and damaged fishing nets for recycling, these fishermen are actively helping to prevent one of the most harmful forms of plastic pollution from entering the ocean.
The collection program currently operates in eight countries: Chile, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, the United States, Seychelles, and Japan. It represents a collaborative effort among coastal communities that share a deep commitment to protecting the sea.

Processing
Nets are sorted, cleaned, shredded, and packed at Bureo facilities before heading to Bureo's recycling partners.

Recycling
Through an advanced depolymerisation process, nets are broken down and reformed into NetPlus® nylon pellets.

Spinning
NetPlus® nylon pellets are extruded into high-quality yarns ready to be woven into the fabric used to create our Origin Puffer.

Innovating
Fabrics made with NetPlus® nylon meet rigorous standards to ensure durability and performance.
