Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We aim to ship your order as quickly as possible. Once your product is packaged, we’ll ship it via courier and email you a tracking number. Feel free to contact us with any shipping questions.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping on selected products, our lead time is 5 - 10 working days. Please note that all shipping costs, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. These fees may vary depending on the destination country and will be calculated based on the rates provided at the time of purchase.
Delivery times may vary depending on factors beyond our control, including customs processing and courier delays. We recommend that customers stay up to date with their shipment by tracking their order through the correspondence provided by the courier service.
RETURNS
In-Store Returns and Refunds Policy (Exchange) - Eg: Wrong Size, Wrong Colour, Fit Issues, Preference Change, Gift Exchange, etc.
- Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date (with receipt present).
- No online orders to be returned to Sealand stores.
- Items that are damaged, stained, or soiled will not be accepted.
- Items must be in the same condition they were bought in with original swing tags still attached.
- For refunds in store, the refund must be done on the same card the transaction was processed on.
In-Store Defective Returns and Refunds Policy - Eg: Damaged or defective goods as a result of production/manufacturing error
- Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date (with receipt present).
- No online orders to be returned to Sealand stores.
- Customer to complete form in store.
- Allow 5 days for feedback from HQ on the defective product.
Online Returns and Refunds - Eg: Wrong Size, Wrong Colour, Fit Issues, Preference Change, Gift Exchange / Damaged or defective goods as a result of production/manufacturing error
- Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date (with receipt present).
- No online orders to be returned to Sealand stores.
- No Web Specials (or discounted products can be returned) - they are considered final sale
- No damaged items accepted.
- If the exchange is due to a personal change in mind the courier cost will be covered by the customer, however if the return is due to a production or manufacturing error Sealand will incur the courier fees.

Online exchanges to follow this process:

- Return to: The Sealand Campus, 144 Main Road, Hout Bay 7806
- Include the packing slip, along with reason for return. If you don't have the packing slip, please include your name, email address and order number if possible.
- Email us at info@sealandgear.com with any additional questions.

- If a refund is due it will be issued once we have received the products you wish to return.
- If there are signs of usage or if the product is damaged by transport, we reserve the right to dismiss the product.
- If a product is in need of repair or exchange due to production or manufacturing errors, Sealand will arrange that the product is returned to the customer once it has been repaired.
Exclusions for Apparel Product Defects
A product defect specifically excludes damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear,
- Alterations to the product,
- Negligence, incorrect use, or abuse of the product,
- Failure to follow proper wash and care instructions.
Return of Sale and Sample Sale Items
All purchases of sample sale and sale items are considered final sale and cannot be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit, unless otherwise stated herein.
General Refund Policy Add Ons
- Product needs to be purchased from Sealand (stores or online).
- No cash refunds.
EVERGREEN GUARANTEE
Our Evergreen Guarantee is a lifetime warranty that extends to all of Sealand’s gear (excluding apparel, headwear and accessories). A lifetime to us, and our Sealand gear, is ten years of use. Our materials are durable and weather-resistant, however, if you run into an issue with your product we are more than happy to repair it. We cover any material or workmanship defect, however, any personal damages, third-party damages, or staining/fading will not be covered. Please refer to our ‘Warranty and Care’ page for more details.
Please note that repairs won't be processed without purchase date as well as proof of purchase.
